Rightmove appoints jClarity, the Java performance specialists, to optimise their property search applications
London, 10th November, 2016: jClarity, the Java performance tuning specialists, today announced that Rightmove, the UK’s largest property portal has selected jClarity to improve the performance of their property search applications. Rightmove will benefit from jClarity’s specialist performance diagnostics engine, machine learning algorithms and expert Java advice to improve their users’ property search experience.
Rightmove is ranked as the UK’s number one property portal, combining the UK’s most comprehensive inventory of properties with the largest and most engaged property audience, including: lettings agents, estate agents and developers of new homes. In order to operate this network, and cope with the demands of a constantly changing and increasing volume of property data, Rightmove needs a robust website and user interface that can handle the millions of daily visits the site receives and give customers the smooth experience that they need and expect.
In an era where users demand low latency access to information, even small performance problems can lead to a loss of users and, consequently, loss of revenue, as well as increased data centre and hosting costs. jClarity solves performance problems in cloud hosted and on-premise environments, allowing customers like Rightmove to immediately diagnose performance issues, see what the problem is in plain English and review suggested solutions. jClarity’s Java performance tools are simple to roll out and designed to work with cloud architectures; they are also extremely low impact tools that are dormant by default, in order not to waste customers’ IT resources, only activating for a few seconds when a diagnosis is requested.
jClarity helps Rightmove improve the performance of their Java applications in a number of ways. Firstly, jClarity have applied their unique machine learning to assist Rightmove’s staff to identify and correct Java software errors. Secondly, they have trained Rightmove’s in-house technical staff to enable them to get the best out of these tools. Lastly, they provide a fast remote advice service to help with the most complicated problems.
